Topic: New cookbook fundraiser
A new cookbook will be coming out soon as a fundraiser for our organization. It will contain recipes from several members of our society. We will work to have a competitive price on the books for you to add to your collection. The funds will be used for the needs of the opperation of our society, to help us accomplish our goals of preserving our Ozarks history and heritage of our connection to the place of the inspiration of the Grand Ole Opry.
Don Warden was a West Plains, Mo native and for several years he was Porter wagoner's steel player, he now is Dolly's business and road manager.
Jim & Jesse McReynolds of Virginia, brought to us the real meaning of the word Bluegrass, their music was well received by millions of fans across the world. They are some of the oldest names on the Grand Ole Opry
Redd Stewart, was one of the biggest names in the business, he along with Pee Wee King co-wrote the song Tennessee Waltz which sold millions of copies. He was an Opry star in the 60's and 70's
